Castlemore is currently being ruled by the evil Queen B! She plans to get rid of all the children in the land! (Boo!) Who can stop her? Is it that funny Nanny Doolittle (she says she can talk to animals!) Or maybe the new mysterious Prince Theodore who`s just come into town? Or maybe even her younger sister.....Princess Ella? 

SUPERELLA is jam-packed with songs, action and some good old family entertainment! A year round panto! Oh yes it is!

Cast

Kattreya Scheurer-Smith (Ella) Kattreya trained at UCLAN and whilst training her credits include Terry Randall (STAGE DOOR) and Karen Wright (THE CHILDRENS HOUR). In 2019 she toured Northern England with Naomi Sumner`s SAME SAME DIFFERENT. She has written and starred in UKE BELONG TO ME, FLAT 2B, SNAILS FOR STARTERS, LANKY OLIVE and full Edinburgh Fringe runs of CINDERELLA and ALADDIN. Big Squirrel Artistic Director, Kattreya has played Daughter (A MIDDLE AGED MAN`S UNCERTAINTY THEORY), Eva (CHRYSALIS), and the title of role of ALANA as well as directing THE RIVER. She has been seen in many big brand commercials including Coca-Cola, Heiniken, Jaguar, Corsa, Listerine, BT, Guiness and Synth in FUTURE OF WORK for BBC Worldwide.Her films include Amazon Army Warrior in WONDER WOMAN for Warner Brothers. Kattreya has appeared in panto since the age of six and this year directed the Big Squirrel version of CINDERELLA for Waterbeach Theatre Company.

Stephanie Swan (Queen B) Steph Trained at Liverpool Theatre School and graduated with distinction in Professional Musical Theatre in 2015. As well as performing, Steph is a choreographer and worked on both our Edinburgh pantos as well as this production. She choreographed PETER PANN as part of a one-off performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2016. In 2017 she toured the UK with ALICE IN WONDERLAND and ROBIN HOOD. In 2018 she played Mungo Jerry in CATS and the following year was Dance Captain and multi role parts in SPRING AWAKENING. Most recently she toured with SONGS FROM SHOWS for LNER. On screen Steph played Nurse Jane in a TV Pilot called TWISTED, Millie in BEWILDERED, Maxine in MYTH, Lucinde in THE ALBI and Susan in RECALL. For Big Squirrel she has played Fairy Starlight (CINDERELLA), Princess Jasmin (ALADDIN) and Kate (ALANA).

Tom Heritage (Nanny Doolittle) Tom trained at UCLAN and whilst training his credits include Robert Caplan (DANGEROUS CORNER) and Steve (COUPLING). Since graduating he has played Macbeth at the Brighton Fringe and appeared alongside Tara Fitzgerald in GASLIGHT at the Royal and Derngate. He has toure Italy with ROMEO & JULIET, ROBIN HOOD and SNOW WHITE. For the National Production Company he has played Paris in ROMEO & JULIET and Demetrius in A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM. Tom has also played a Knight at Warwick Castle. His other stage credits include Scullery (ROAD) and Leonard (Coward). Hos short films include Hostage (THE DEEP WEB), Leon (CHORUS) and Josh (CURIOUS JAWS - IVORY YARDSALE Music Video). For Big Squirrel, Tom played Prince Charming (CINDERELLA) and Abanazar/Genie (ALADDIN).

Roisin O`Shea (Prince Theodore) Roisin trained at The Hammond in Chester where she graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre. She is a professional singing, dancing and drama teacher for a variety of stage schools. She worked with Kattreya at Razzamataz theatre school and then became musical director for WTC`s CINDERELLA. She was an actor at FRIENDS FEST and recently played Angi in OUR HOUSE for Chicken Shed in Cockfosters. In February Roisin appeared in BROOK FOR NOTHING which won the Welwyn Drama Festival. This will be her first appearance for Big Squirrel.
